The Cross of My Lord Jesus

Eating and drinking are a part of life. Yet to stay in sin isn’t. So, my mind and soul need freedom to sing. Yet while I walk and eat my fill many go hungry and wait to find sustenance. In life all who wait on me will continue to live, says the Lord. Yet while I care for them, I also dream of a moment in time when you bear fruit for other people to eat too. I eat so you can too. Is that fair? Or I am so you are, also is that fair too? Yes. Can I show you my heart that you might live? I carry with me a voice of a cry that will deafen any who hear. I call out in the desert all who listen will die a death of grim proportions. Will you listen to me? I take a joy that remains. After I speak there is fruit. Can I show you? In you is life and more life, and in me is death of the cross of Christ. Is that fair? So, I wait for your call to seek the lost at any cost and be afraid of only me.

I Looked at Him and Died but He Gave me Life Again Cos He Loved Me

I looked at him in the middle of my time today before his loving face It took my gaze, and I made him proud of me Yet as I waited my heart grew dim and I gave way to sin Yet he never forsook his promise to be with me And my hope to heal my heart fell away Yet I hear him saying, I alone can heal a heart that grows cold and dim Yet he waits for me and I carry my heavy heart to his hand And he rests with intent of caring for my love So beaten, broken and bruised he took me in Beaten and sore, my wound he healed Shown love from the spotless lamb of God He showed me I care for you He showed me love   Photo by   Bill Fairs   on   Unsplash

Found in the Arms of Grace

I was use to walking along the road with no one to guide me in which way I was to go. Now I see the way is a narrow road, not broad, that leads to life (John 7:13-14). I am able to see a piece of grace as a gift from God’s hand, not a limitation that restricts me from seeing his love. So I press forward toward the goal of receiving Christ as my inheritance. This I do, forget what is behind and press forward toward the heavenly calling we have in God’s son Jesus (Philippians 3:14).  For I was once lost in sin, unable to see, deaf from all the drowning noise of chaos and lost in my own pride of life. I thought I was alone because there was no one who could save me. Yet I was only dead due to a decision to forget who I as made to be. I am now in the light, not of life alone, but also of God’s grace. I leave my baggage of tormented soul to enter a new age of transformation. Like a butterfly I used to crawl, now I saw above the wind and lift up above the waves.  In the start o...

Faith at the End of My Life

Are you aware of God’s love? Not the ether or the outer, the inner love of the almighty. This is different, this empowers and overtakes heart ache, pain and disappointment. It is for you to discover in Jesus.  Let’s look at him for a moment and gaze at him for a sound of a chime on the clock. We are now older, yes, though wiser in every single way. He envelops us by his gaze, we see the bright full eyes of God in him who stands before me looking to relinquish my pain and settle the debt of my longing to be with him, sin.  Now faith records for us a legacy. Where at the end of my life do I see myself? Is it in a place of regret or shame? Or am I in a place of whole hearted devotion to Him? Is it hard to understand who I am in the eternal vision of Jesus? Or shall I lay down my ambition to behold him? I will answer this, that He is very worth my all in. I place all my hope in him. I place my eternal significance in this, that He gave it all for me. Hope defered can make y...
